Highlights and Hilarity!

The Run Down:

Lunch with Lizabear

Walk through Dolores Park to view the hipsters

Friday night Giants Game which included:

  • hipster baseball fans
  • hot dogs, coke, and garlic fries
  • inappropriate sitings of soup in a bread bowl
  • baseball pirates
  • a for serious fight that involved cleared benches and punches
  • The Beard… sporting orange shoes
  • riding home on the subway and then getting lost

Waiting for the bus and hearing some kid on the corner sing Get Low while playing the washboard…

Flicking through Netflix and realizing they stink at categorization

Saturday lunch at Pier 39

Watching the Sea lions fight, show off and lay around

Cruising to Alcatraz which included:

  • being cold
  • we were on a boat
  • the pretty awesome audio tour
  • taking pictures of us pretending to be in jail
  • almost blowing off the island
  • Be super freaked out on D Block when the lady was slamming the door and locking people into the solitary cells…

Dinner with Gayathri and Byron (thanks again)

Teaching each other about great shows The Office, 30 Rock, Arrested Development

Sunday BACON donuts at Dynamo Donuts yummmmmm

Brunch with the peeps: Chuck, Erica, Doug, Aaron, Jim

Tooled around Downtown which included:

  • Classic Cable Car Ride (Powel-Hyde)
  • Walked down that curvy Lombard street
  • Walked up Lombard to Telegraph Hill
  • Walked down the stairs
  • Squished ourselves on the F car
  • Dined at the In and Out
  • Walked through the good part of town
  • Saw street tap dancing
  • Accidentally wandered into the Tenderloin… whoops
  • Found the good part of town again

Picked up Goood Frickin Chicken on the way home

Drove across the Golden Gate Bridge in the dark

We pretty much did it all!!!
